Specialised Substitute Residential Care (SSRC)

Safe, structured support when young people need it most At Your Story Community Supports, we provide Specialised Substitute Residential Care (SSRC) in line with NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian (OCG) requirements. Our focus is on delivering safe, supportive, and child-centred care for young people who need to stay away from home.

What is SSRC?

SSRC is care provided when a child or young person stays away from their usual home for three or more nights in a seven-day period. This may be for respite, behavioural support, or NDIS-funded accommodation.
